Chase Transfer Partners and How to Transfer Points

Chase Ultimate Rewards points can be transferred to 14 different loyalty programs: 10 airline and 4 hotel programs. These transfer partners offer incredible value, allowing you to maximize your points for high-end travel experiences.

A transfer partner is an airline or hotel loyalty program that Chase has a direct relationship with. Instead of booking through Chase Travel, you convert your Ultimate Rewards points directly into that program’s currency and book through them.

Most transfers happen at a 1:1 ratio, meaning 1,000 Chase points become 1,000 miles or hotel points in the partner program. Transfers are instant for most partners and are one-way only, so make sure you have an award booking ready before you transfer.

Chase Transfer Partners and How To Transfer Points

Airlines

  • Aer Lingus AerClub

  • Air Canada Aeroplan

  • Air France-KLM Flying Blue

  • British Airways Avios

  • Iberia Plus

  • JetBlue TrueBlue

  • Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer

  • Southwest Rapid Rewards

  • United Airlines MileagePlus

  • Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

Hotels

  • IHG Rewards

  • Marriot Bonvoy

  • World of Hyatt

  • Wyndham Rewards

For the most part, all transfers occur at a 1:1 ratio, meaning 1,000 Chase points become 1,000 airline miles or hotel points. The exception to this is Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Ink Business Preferred transfers to Hyatt, which is at a 4:3 ratio.

Often, transferring points to these programs provides better value than redeeming them directly through Chase’s travel portal, where you get a fixed value of 1 cents per point (cpp), unless you have a points boost.

Boosting Your Points with Transfer Bonuses

Occasionally, Chase offers transfer bonuses, allowing you to receive extra miles or points when transferring to specific programs. For example, I took advantage of a 30% bonus when transferring Chase points to British Airways Avios. Since Avios can be freely transferred between British Airways and Iberia, I moved my points to Iberia and booked a one-way lie-flat business class seat from Washington, D.C., to Madrid for only 43,000 Ultimate Rewards points, which is an amazing deal for peak summer travel!

Which Cards Allow You to Transfer Points?

Not all Chase cards allow point transfers to airline and hotel partners. You must hold at least one of these premium Chase cards:

If you have other Ultimate Rewards-earning cards like the Chase Freedom Flex, Freedom Unlimited, Ink Cash, or Ink Unlimited, you can still transfer points by first moving them to one of the above cards.

Transfer your points, confirm, and submit!

Most transfers happen instantly, but some programs are known to take some time and you may experience delays.

Pro Tip: Avoid doing a small "test" transfer. If you send a small amount first and then attempt a larger transfer, Chase's fraud detection system may block or delay the second transaction. Instead, calculate your exact points requirement and transfer everything at once.
